Love Leader101 Graduation
Love Leader 101 is a Community Program Designed to Help Participants Identify, Respond to and Prevent all Forms of Relational Violence among Family, Partners and Colleagues.
What We Do
WhenLoveWorks Dynamically® (“WLWD”) provides Love Leader® 101 program as technical assistance, training and wellness for community-based prevention, identification of and response to both intimate partner and family violence (commonly referred to as “domestic violence”) for residents, local community-based organizations and groups across thirty (30) New York City neighborhoods.
This initiative is in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety (“ONS”) within the Department of Youth & Community Development (“DYCD”) and the United Way of New York.
As a result of this engagement, WLWD® provides substantial education, incentives, and ongoing assistance to community-based organizations that will build their capacity to identify and respond to domestic violence safely and effectively.
WHO
WhenLoveWorks' social-impact community programming features Love Leader™ 101, which is designed to increase relational health and combat domestic violence within historically marginalized communities through classes, wellness activations and engagement across 30 NYCHA communities.
We are a team of Coaches, Community Engagement Leads and Creatives who are committed to creating healthy relationships within our communities.
HOW
Love Leader™ provides 4 healthy relationship classes in the series, along with community workshops, wellness activations and the tools you need to get and maintain healthy relationships with your family, friends, colleagues, and significant others.
We serve NYCHA Resident Leaders, CBOs, and Stakeholders. Our programming is designed to help you Identify, Respond to, and Prevent all forms of relational violence.
COMMUNITY BENEFITS
Participants graduate Love Leaders 101: Healthy Relationship Capacity Building Training with $7,000 worth of Healthy Relationships curricula, tools, incentives, a Love Leader™ Graduation, membership in a private Online learning platform.
Love Leaders™ are invited to continue skill building with ongoing training and maintain community engagement at wellness activations, alumni/reunion events.
